Hyundai’s first
showroom in Georgia
Hyundai Auto Georgia began operating in the Georgian market in 1997 when it partnered with the Korean automotive Hyundai Motor Company and opened the first Hyundai showroom on the left side of the Mtkvari River. At that time, only five models were presented in this showroom: ATOS, ACCENT, ELANTRA, SONATA, and COUPE, and the company had only eight employees.
Largest
car dealership in Europe
2007 proved crucial for Hyundai when the company opened its first car dealership and service center in Tbilisi to celebrate its 10th anniversary. At that time, the Tbilisi dealership was Hyundai’s largest car dealership in Europe.
CSR
CSR is an integral part of the company’s history. Hyundai Auto Georgia supports Georgian sports. Since 2006, it has supported the National Basketball Federation. We are proud that in 2010, we established a children’s basketball school that has been functioning successfully and has nurtured hundreds of stars.
